New signing, Mohamed Elneny, joined the rest of the first team in training ahead of our match against Stoke on Sunday.

The midfielder appears to be integrating into the squad nicely and it’s good to see he’s been thrown straight into the action.

It’s doubtful that the former Basel player will get the nod ahead of Flamini for our Premier League clash at the Britannia. However, getting him into mix with his new team-mates can be helpful and, who knows, maybe he’ll impress Wenger so much in training we might be surprised when the team sheet’s read out on Sunday.

Saying this, it would be a bit of a ‘tasty’ fixture to throw the 23-year-old into. Although Stoke have gone through something of a makeover recently, they’re still Stoke and I highly doubt they’d go easy on the new guy… quite the opposite actually.
