Francis Coquelin and Alexis Sanchez have finally returned from the sidelines and joined the rest of the squad in training on Thursday ahead of our match against Chelsea.

Both players have been out for a while, Coq with a bad knee injury and Alexis having tweaked his hamstring. The Chilean in particular was out for a lot longer than was originally anticipated, but what else is new when it comes to Arsenal players?

However, they’re at least back in training now, which is a massive step in the right direction.

Also in training was Rosicky, who is expected to play for the u21 team on Friday, and new signing Mohamed Elneny.

Although it’s unlikely that any of the above will start on Sunday against the Blues, there’s a small chance one or two might get a run out and at least they’re on their way.

What a place for Elneny to get his debut, eh? In front of the home crowd playing one of our biggest rivals.

And just in case anyone was worried, Mesut Ozil was there too.
