The England u17 squad that are currently in a training camp at St George’s park are set to play an international tournament next month in the USA.
US Soccer have announced a four-nations Under-17 women’s international tournament at the U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Carson, California.
The USA have invited, Japan, Korea Republic and England.
The tournament will be played from 11th to 15th February and will be streamed live on ussoccer.com
Fixtures:
- Thu 11 Feb 6 pm PT England v USA
- Sat 13 Feb 3 pm PT England v Japan
- Mon 15 Feb 12 pm England v Korea Republic
England will then try to qualify for the 2016 Euros to be played in Belarus from 4th to 16th May.
They are placed in Group 6 in the Elite round and will play against Belgium, Iceland and hosts Serbia from 24th to 29th March. The group winner will go through to the finals.
The top three teams in the Euro finals will qualify for the u17 2016 World Cup to be played in Jordan from 30th September to 21st October. Japan and North Korea have already qualified for the World Cup with qualifiers in progress in the other confederations.
Arsenal Ladies have had many players selected for the recent camp with Taylor Hinds, Anna Patten, Anna Filbey, Lotte-Wubben-Moy and u17 club Captain Laura Hooper among the England regulars.
