Crazy reports have begun to emerge that Manchester United are considering a £140m bid for Barcelona’s Neymar.

The astronomic bid is said to be enough to trigger the goalscorer’s release clause, which the Red Devils supposedly want to do.

Although in recent weeks United have begun to find their form again, their style of play still isn’t exactly scintillating to watch and buying a player like Neymar could remedy this. However, one player does not make a team and it’d be naive to expect the 23-year-old to just slot into a new team, in a new league and suddenly turn their performances around.

Saying this, it’s rumoured that Neymar is unhappy in his current team. Although he’s enjoyed some success at Barcelona, reports emerged at the end of the summer that the Brazilian wanted to leave.

Therefore, it’s only a matter of time before Arsenal begin to get linked with the youngster again. We were previously linked at the beginning of 2015 but obviously nothing came of it and now we’re in fantastic form, I highly doubt our eyes will even glance in his direction.

Not to mention the ridiculous release clause…
