Arsenal grabbed all three points at the Emirates in the first game of the year but it could have been so very different.
From a bright opening which saw Hector Bellerin bomb down the flank at will, the Gunners failed to capitalise on his excellent crossing and the game looked like it could slip away from their grasp at any point.
Thankfully, Laurent Koscielny, who was frustrated all afternoon by the decisions of Anthony Taylor, scored the game’s only goal to ensure Arsenal stayed on top of the pile.
Tweeting after the game, Hector revealed his delight at grabbing the first win of the year:

With Mathieu Debuchy on his way from the club, the Spaniard has many reasons to celebrate tonight.
