Arsenal are apparently keen on Porto’s midfielder, Giannelli Imbula.

The 23-year-old has appeared 17 times for the Portuguese club and only assisted two goals, which doesn’t appear to be too impressive considering his age and who we already have in that position.

The Frenchman is apparently sort after in England, with Stoke, Chelsea and Southampton all interested.

Although admittedly I’m not too familiar with Imbula, it’s not as if we’re going to be adding him to our youth team and although I’m sure he’s promising, I doubt he could really add anything to our squad. We all know Wenger’s not one to needlessly spend money and considering Porto are asking for £18.5m, I don’t see us even sniffing in his direction. We have much bigger fish to fry.

There you go, Stoke. You’re welcome to him.
