Arsene Wenger has called upon his squad to fight like we did against Manchester City every game.

The 2-1 victory at the Emirates was huge, not just in terms of the table but also our self belief. Now we’ve beaten one of our main rivals, we can start to dream and realistically look ahead to lifting the Premier League trophy.

Speaking after the match, the boss said, “It has strengthened our belief. We need to fight like that every game. There is a real togetherness.”

The final quarter of the match was pretty hectic. Once City got a goal back they finally realised they should probably start playing and to say it was nervy is an understatement. Luckily, we kept them out and held onto the lead and it was perhaps this that’s more telling.

Scoring hasn’t really ever been a problem for us. However, keeping big teams out has been and for us to survive the onslaught of City chances and leave with the three points is huge.
