Against Sunderland, the German nabbed his 12th assist of the season, meaning, he only needs nine more to beat Thierry Henry’s record of 20. For the playmaker to be rivalising such a player is huge and should prove to not only the world but himself just what he’s capable of.

In addition, Ozil has now assisted the most goals at Arsenal since Fabregas and has had a hand in 14 goals in 13 appearances.
