Joe Hart has spoken out about Man City’s recent inconsistent form and admitted he’s frustrated.
Arsenal face the Blues just before Christmas in what will probably be our most important game of the season so far.
Although we’re above City by one point in the Premier League, a win over them would push us even further ahead. It’d also prove, once again, that we’re capable of challenging for the title and better than our rivals.
City’s form recently hasn’t been very consistent and they’ve been dropping silly points everywhere. As amusing as this is to the rest of us, the City players aren’t enjoying it that much and Hart has admitted that they need to be ‘a million percent’ better if they’re going to beat us.
“It’s a shame it needs the dragon to be poked before we come out of the cage,” Hart said.
“We know what we’ve got here and it’s frustrating when we don’t do it, but it’s a long season and we’ve got ourselves into a good place.”
The goalkeeper continued, “We need to be a million per cent better. We need to step up. We can be awesome when we want to be so we need to be more consistent – that’s what we’re looking for.”
On their day, City can beat anyone but so can we. All we need to do is focus, not let nerves get the better of us and perform to the best of our ability.
