It appears Manuel Pellegrini is beginning to lose his dressing room after Man City’s 2-1 defeat to Arsenal in the Premier League on Monday night.

Wilfried Bony, who’s scored eight goals and assisted five so far this season for the Blues, was disappointed not to get the nod ahead of Sergio Aguero in their match against us at the Emirates.

Considering Aguero is just coming back from injury and Bony has enjoyed a fair bit of success this season, the former Swansea man would have appreciated a start.

“[Aguero] is coming back from injury,” Bony said.

“He hasn’t played for a couple of weeks. I’m disappointed today that I didn’t start but I’m not the coach.”

Bony hasn’t even been at City a whole year yet and he’s already insinuating that he could leave, which isn’t good for Pellegrini. The manager is under pressure after the Manchester team have failed to look very convincing so far.

It makes a nice change for the opposition’s manager to be under scrutiny. So often it’s Arsene bearing the brunt of the media attention but this time, he’s being hailed as a genius. Oh how times change, eh?
