Football ‘guru’ Guillem Balague has thrown a wet blanket over any hope that we may be getting Celta Vigo’s Nolito in January.

We were rumoured to be interested in the winger recently before Theo returned from injury and the La Liga star has also been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona.

However, Balague insists there is no truth in the rumours that he could be on his way to north London and that the 28-year-old wants a move to the Catalan giants.

Buying a winger isn’t likely to be on our list of priorities during the January transfer windows so it’s probably best that we turn out attention elsewhere.

Arsenal not interested at all in Nolito. Not by chance the stories come out in the Catalan press (he wants to go to FCB).
