Arsenal travel to Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena in an attempt to recreate our success away to the German team in previous seasons.
After beating Bayern 2-0 just weeks ago at the Emirates, the Gunners will be hoping for a similar display away. However, key injuries to our first team squad, including Walcott, the Ox and, most recently, Bellerin, will make it a difficult task.
Although it’s looking doubtful that Arsenal will progress to the knock-out stages of the Champions League, a win would increase our chances greatly, as well as boost our confidence.
Here are how both teams line up:
Bayern Munich: Neuer, Thiago, Martinez, Lewandowski, Costa, Alonso, Boateng, Lahm, Müller, Alaba, Coman.
Subs: Ulreich, Benatia, Robben, Rafinha, Vidal, Badstuber, Kimmich.
Arsenal: Cech, Debuchy, Gabriel, Mertesacker, Monreal, Coquelin, Cazorla, Campbell, Alexis, Ozil, Giroud.
Subs: Macey, Reine-Adelaide, Chambers, Kos, Gibbs, Flamini, Iwobi.
