With Arsenal looking increasingly unlikely to progress through to the knock-out stages of the Champions League, could it be time to just save face?
Losing 2-1 to Dinamo Zagreb was the first step in Arsenal’s embarrassing Champions League campaign. We’ve so far only managed to win one match (cruelly, against European giants Bayern Munich) and the chances of us going through to the next round aren’t looking great.
However, it could be time to just save face. Confidence is low after losing to West Brom in the Premier League and another defeat could be horrific. On the other hand, a victory could be just what we need to get back to winning ways.
Here are how the teams line up:
Arsenal: Cech, Bellerin, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Monreal, Flamini, Cazorla, Campbell, Ozil, Alexis, Giroud
Subs: Ospina, Debuchy, Gabriel, Gibbs, Chambers, Ramsey, Reine-Adelaide.
Dinamo Zagreb: Eduardo; Pinto, Matel, Sigali, Taravel; Paulo Machado, Antolic, Gonçalo Santos; Pjaca, Rog, Fernandes.
Subs: Mikulic, Soudani, Musa, Sovsic, Henriquez, Pavicic, Coric.
