November is over at last for Arsenal, thank goodness.

Arsène Wenger averages over 2 points per game in four of the 10 months he has to manage in the Premier League. Five of the remaining six see his average points per game between 1.9 and 1.99, except November.

The Gunners have won two points from three Premier League games this November, and it’s nothing new.

Indeed, the curse of November is something that extends back to Arsène Wenger’s arrival in north London, and it is showing no signs of changing.

The Gunners had won five consecutive Premier League games before entering November this year but started it with a 5-1 Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich before drawing with Tottenham in the Premier League. Since an international break, we’ve managed to lose at West Brom and draw at Norwich, meaning we leave November with a new lowest ever total of two points.

Roll on December and next weekend’s visit of Sunderland. Things can only get better.
