After completing a loan move to York City on Friday, Stefan O’Connor made his debut for the League 2 side on Saturday afternoon.
Five other Arsenal stars were in action in the Championship, while Gedion Zelalem played in a semi-final for Rangers.
Stefan O’Connor
It wasn’t a great day for Stefan, but one he is likely to remember.

Making his professional debut, the young defender was part of a backline which shipped five goals at home to Accrington Stanley. York City currently sit 23rd in League Two, and will need some good performances from O’Connor in order to get out of trouble.
Gedion Zelalem
Midfielder Gedion Zelalem was unlucky not to get his first Rangers goal early on in the Petrofac Cup Final against St. Mirren.

Ultimately it didn’t matter as Rangers ran out 4-0 winners. Congratulations Gedion!
Chuba Akpom & Isaac Hayden
Both Akpom and Hayden come off the bench on Friday evening with Hull 2-0 down to Derby County. They couldn’t help reverse the team’s fortunes, as the Tigers fell to a result which knocked them off the top of the table.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles
Usually a winger, the 18-year-old midfielder impressed in a central role for Ipswich Town as they beat Charlton Athletic 3-0 on Saturday.
He played in the middle of the park for Arsenal u21s for the majority of last season and his versatility will clearly serve him well, as well as exhibiting just how many attributes he has.
Not enough credit has gone to @Ains_7 for his performance today in the 433. #ITFC Well played sir.

No player attempted more tackles during the game, an impressive record for a teenage winger playing in a physical division.
Jon Toral
Birmingham fell to a 2-1 defeat as Brighton went top of the table on Saturday, but Jon Toral did equalise for the visitors in the first half.
