Arsene Wenger met with the press immediately after his side’s win against Everton at the Emirates on Saturday evening.
Ending the Toffee’s unbeaten record away from home, two goals from Olivier Girroud and Laurent Koscielny in quick succession were enough to seal the points despite Everton’s stronger showing in the second half on the back of Ross Barkley’s deflected goal.
Asked if it should have been a more comfortable victory, the boss agreed but felt that the exertions from Tuesday night played their part in how the game played out.
