Before the first team beat Bayern Munich 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday evening, the u19s faced their counterparts from Germany’s most successful club in the UEFA Youth League.

After beating Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiacos, a third win would put Arsenal in a commanding position in the group and they managed just that. It was the first time for many fans to see Ismael Bennacer and Donyell Malen after they signed in the summer.

Reiss Nelson, just 15, impressed on the left wing but both goals came from 19-year-old Alex Iwobi on the opposite flank as the Gunners won by the same scoreline that the mens team went on to win by later the same day.

All the highlights have been uploaded onto the UEFA YouTube channel, and you can see them here.
