Calum Chambers got the chance to appear for the England u21s against Kazakhstan and the team won convincingly.
The 3-0 victory, with goals from Loftus-Cheek, Redmond and our very own Chuba Akpom, means that the Young Lions continue their run of wins in the u21 Championship qualifiers.
The match was only Chambers’ sixth appearance for the England u21s and the youngster was clearly proud as he took to Twitter afterwards to celebrate.
Hopefully the victory will give the defender some much-needed confidence.
