Arsene Wenger believes the match in the Champions League against Olympiacos is a must win for Arsenal after our defeat to Dinamo Zagreb.

The 2-1 loss away to Zagreb was entirely avoidable and leaves no margin for error on Tuesday against Olympiacos.

“You have to win home games if you want to qualify, it is as simple as that,” Wenger said. “We cannot afford to drop points against anybody at home.

“We are now in a position where we do not want to talk too much about the statistics, we just want to win our games and I’m confident we will.”

Winning your home matches is usually enough to see you through to the knock-out stages but at least one win away would all but guarantee it. Considering our home form in all competitions isn’t exactly glowing, this makes the match a must win and it’s not going to be a walk in the park.

As long as we turn up, play our football and don’t completely forget our positioning, as we have done in the recent past, even in the opening stages of the Leicester game, we should be fine. However, our players should now be well aware that we can’t just turn up expecting the result to automatically go our way.
