It’s still not known whether Theo Walcott will get the nod ahead of Olivier Giroud against Stoke on Saturday but the forward is ready regardless.
A poor run of form from Giroud has left many urging Arsene Wenger to leave the Frenchman on the bench in favour of Walcott.
It’s a difficult position for the boss to be in, considering Walcott tends to be more useful on the wing, especially against teams where he can really run past and get in behind the defence, like Stoke. However, if Giroud’s confidence has taken a knock, he might be dropped.
Walcott tweeted a picture from training saying that he’s ready for the match. Whether he knows if he’s starting or not tomorrow, who knows? But he definitely seems up for the challenge.
