Jose Mourinho has confirmed that both Pedro and Willian will be left out of Saturday’s tie against Arsenal.

The announcement will come as welcome news after we suffered an embarrassing 2-1 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League.

Willian is thought to have injured his hamstring during the Blues’ match against Israeli team, Maccabi Tel Aviv, which they won 4-0.

Pedro on the other hand, appeared to be already suffering from a muscular injury before the game.

Both players have been Chelsea’s only bright sparks so far this season, with Willian actually scoring during the European fixture before limping off.

New signing Pedro scored in his first Premier League match against West Brom – Chelsea’s only win in the Premier League this season.

Although the news may be welcomed by some ahead of our tie against the Blues on Saturday, we still have to turn up to Stamford Bridge and get a result against a team we lost 6-0 against just last year.
