Olympiacos midfielder Pajtim Kasami has admitted that the Greek team can’t afford any slip-ups against one of the best teams in England (that’s us).

Arsenal face Olympiacos on Tuesday in our second tie of the Champions League group stages hoping to get a better result that we did against Dinamo Zagreb.

The Croatian team outplayed us in almost every way and came away with a well-deserved 2-1 win. It was a match that we should have won and the fact we didn’t puts us at a major disadvantage with games against Bayern Munich just around the corner.

It’s crucial that we get a result against Olympiacos if we’re going to have any hope of progressing to the knock-out stages.

On the other hand, the Greek team feel the same way.

“Our organisation is different in the UEFA Champions League, facing one of the best teams in England,” Kasami said.

“We must concentrate our play and defend well, to have confidence and to avoid mistakes, because whoever makes mistakes loses.”

This time we’re at home and although we don’t seem to understand the theory of home advantage, now we’ve perked up in the league, we should be able to put up a bit more of a fight against the Greek team.

Alexis is back to goalscoring, Theo is looking sharper by the game and Giroud, despite apparently being in a run of bad form, is still scoring.
