Leicester City’s manager, Claudio Ranieri, has been singing Arsenal’s praises ahead of our match on Saturday.

Leicester are currently sitting in fourth place in the Premier League table on 12 points, two points above us in fifth, but the manager still believes that they will have to pull off a perfect performance at their home ground in order to beat the Gunners.

“To beat Arsenal we must do the perfect match, no mistakes,” he said. “Arsenal are great to watch, they are smart, fast and technical.

“They are ready to fight for the title again in my opinion. Maybe not the Champions League just yet, but in the league they are growing stronger. I think they have a chance.

“On Saturday we are going to have a very big match on our hands, because it is difficult to find a weakness in the present Arsenal team.”

Ranieri’s comments aren’t just flattering, they’re not strictly true. This season, although we have improved and are far from our worst, we’re still not playing the best football we could. At the end of last season, we hit a period of good form where we were playing the stunning football we’ve become known for – the type the Leicester manager is speaking about. However, this season… not so much. Yet.

The fixture away to the Foxes is going to be hard. They’ve been formidable opposition so far this season and are yet to be beaten.
