The unlikely hero, Mathieu Flamini, has dedicated his amazing brace against Spurs in the Capital One Cup to the Arsenal fans.

The midfielder, who got to enjoy a more advanced role in the match at White Hart Lane, scored two great goals. The first came in the first half when Vorm parried out a shot from the Ox and the Flame was waiting in the box to fire it home, while the second was a world class volley.

After almost leaving Arsenal in the summer, the Frenchman is bound to feel a great sense of relief at being able to help his team and prove his worth within the club.

Flamini dedicated the win and his goals to the Arsenal fans via the official Twitter account, thanking us for our support.
