Diego Costa believes that a win against Arsenal on Saturday is the perfect way to ‘fix’ Chelsea’s season.

The Blues have had a dismal start to the Premier League, only racking up one win and four points so far. They currently sit precariously above the relegation zone; a far cry from the team who ran away with the title last season by eight points.

Chelsea striker Costa has marked their impending match against us as a great fixture to get back to winning ways in, saying, “There’s nothing better than a game against Arsenal to win and fix this situation.

“If we win then we’ll take a step forward in terms of confidence and points; we know about the importance of the game.

“We have to remain calm. We have enough quality to fix the situation.”

Nerves will be high ahead of the London derby, which Chelsea will be anxious to win in order to make up some lost ground in the Premier League, and Arsenal will be skittish because a) that seems to be our default setting and b) we hardly ever win at Stamford Bridge, especially not against Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea.

Whatever the outcome, I just hope we come out fighting.
