Gedion Zelalem looks set for a move to Rangers on loan for the season according to a report in the Daily Record.

The youngster has impressed each time he has pulled on the Arsenal shirt and a loan will surely help his development with him clearly possessing all the skills but lacking somewhat in the physical strength department.

Still only 18, Gedion has a massive future ahead of him and regularly playing in a tough league like the Scottish Championship will certainly help him get ready for the rigours of the Premier League.

With a number of clubs chasing his signature, Zelalem flew to Glasgow on Tuesday and will have talks with Rangers’ manager, Mark Warburton.

Warburton will perhaps know more than most about Zelalem due to his Brentford connections and the close ties they have with Arsenal.

Gedion will become the 11th Arsenal player to go out on loan should the deal go through.
