It’s nice to know that while our players were getting stamped on at St. James’ Park, Gedion Zelalem was experiencing the same treatment while out on loan at Rangers.
Joking aside, the 18-year-old made a superb appearance for Rangers against Queen of the South in their 5-1 win. The midfielder even got another assist and appears to be making his mark on the Scottish Championship club.
However, when the youngster was briefed on the physicality of the Scottish Championship, he probably wasn’t banking on being stamped on by Mark Millar so soon.
Zelalem learning how skill gets ‘rewarded’ in Scottish football. Beyond disgusting. pic.twitter.com/vW66y9yU2I
