Jon Toral made his debut for Birmingham City on Saturday afternoon as they defeated Reading 2-1 and promptly got on the scoresheet.

Toral opened his account with a header just after the half-time break to double the Blues’ lead and played 71 minutes before he was replaced by Andrew Shinnie.

The Spaniard will be hopeful of impressing during this loan spell as much as he did for Brentford last season, doing enough to earn him an extension to his Arsenal contract.
