Arsenal travel to Newcastle for the early kick-off knowing that they need a win desperately.
Picking up just four points from their opening three games, the Gunners need to start collecting maximum points if they are to have any hope of keeping pace with Manchester City in the title race.
With a tough month lying ahead of them, no more slip-ups can be afforded.
With Arsenal looking better away from the Emirates than at it (19 from 21 points on the road) and unbeaten in their last nine against the Magpies (W7 D2) it would seem to be set up for a Gunners win.
But then again, Arsenal never make things quite that straightforward.
Here are the teams for today’s game (Ozil misses out with a ‘minor’ knee injury):
Newcastle: Krul, Janmaat, Mbemba, Coloccini, Haidara, Anita, Colback, Sissoko, Wijnaldum, Thauvin, Mitrovic
Subs: Darlow, Taylor, Tiote, Obertan, De Jong, Perez, Cisse
Arsenal: Cech, Bellerin, Kos, Gabriel, Nacho, Le Coq, Santi, Ox, Rambo, Sanchez, Theo
Subs: Ospina, Debuchy, Gibbs, Chambers, Arteta, Campbell, Giroud
Referee: Andre Marriner
Fourth Official: Anthony Taylor
