Serge Gnabry is set to join West Bromwich Albion on loan.

The 20-year-old has been linked with a loan move away from the Emirates to West Brom for a while but now it appears to only be a matter of time.

The forward, who has now played 18 matches for the Arsenal first team since joining in 2013, and 32 for the u21s, is predicted to complete a six-month-loan move to the Premier League club in order to gain some crucial experience.

The fact that it’s not a whole season shows that Arsene Wenger must have plans for the German in the not-too-distant future. However, after suffering a long term knee injury last season, he still needs time to return to full fitness and get match time.

The move will be excellent for the talented youngster as it’s difficult to see how he would currently fit into the current squad, despite having bags of potential.
