Despite Serge Gnabry moving to West Brom on a season-long loan very recently, the youngster has been left out of the Baggies’ squad against Manchester City.

It appears that the signing of the German was so recent that he didn’t get the chance to be registered to play. Other new signing, Salomon Rondon, also finds himself with the same problem.

After only appearing eight times for the Arsenal u21s last season due to a serious knee injury, Gnabry will be eager to kick off his new season and start gaining the all-important match experience that Wenger believes he needs.
