According to Lee Anderson, Arsenal are set to send a club delegation including chief negotiator to Spain this week as the transfer window reaches its climax.

Law is allegedly set to meet up with Arsenal scout Francis Cagigao with a two-legged trip planned.

According to Anderson the first leg of the trip is to speak about a possible move for highly-rated playmaker Dani Ceballos of Real Betis. Ceballos, 19, has been linked with Arsenal before and is reportedly a long-term target, who has also been linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer.

Dubbed the ‘new Cesc Fabregas’, Ceballos comes with an increasing reputation. He has recently broken in the Spain U21 squad and started 33 times last season as current club Real Betis won promotion to La Liga.

The midfielder reportedly has a release clause of €12M in a contract which expires a year from now – if he doesn’t sign on a number of Europe’s top clubs will be looking to win his signature.

Other than Mesut Özil it’s slightly difficult to wonder who Arsenal would play as a true playmaker, so a deal to sign a talented prospect could make some sense.

In all honesty I have no idea how reliable Anderson is and can’t find very much about his background, but he does tweet an awful lot of transfer news. Don’t expect anything but be sure to keep an open mind with this one.
