The league may have started on Saturday but we all know it only really gets started today.
It’s an early chance to lay down a marker and go two points clear of the league Champions who did their best to give us a head start in their game against Swansea in the late kick-off on Saturday.
Three points are not a must but if this side is going to have any illusions of being proper title challengers, then winning at home is essential.
Here are the official lineups:
Arsenal: Cech, Debuchy, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Coquelin, Ramsey, Ox, Ozil, Cazorla, Giroud
Subs: Ospina, Gibbs, Gabriel, Arteta, Walcott, Alexis, Chambers
West Ham: Adrian, Tomkins, Reid, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Oxford, Noble, Kouyate, Payet, Zarate, Sakho
Subs: Randolph, Collins, Poyet, Nolan, Jarvis, Lanzini, Maiga
Referee: Martin Atkinson
Assistants: S Child, S Burt.
