Just in case there was any doubt and you didn’t believe us the first dozen times, Arturo Vidal’s agent has confirmed the midfielder is not coming to Arsenal.

Since the beginning, we’ve had it on pretty good authority that Vidal isn’t coming to Arsenal and there’s been no contact from the club. On the 29th June, David Ornstein of the BBC also denied that Arsenal were even in talks over the 28-year-old.

It later emerged that the whole rumour appeared to be a hoax.

Now, Vidal’s agent has spoken up saying simply, “I’ve not had any contact with Arsenal.”

Although it’s not denying he could come to Arsenal one day and that there’s just been no contact, it’s looking pretty much certain that we have no intention of buying the Juventus player.

Saying this, there’ll probably be a new ‘source‘ or rumour regarding his supposedly imminent transfer to the Gunners tomorrow.
