It’s been about five minutes since there were any new developments in the Morgan Schneiderlin to Arsenal transfer saga but now he’s reportedly told friends he wants a move to Arsenal.

In June, Philippe Auclair claimed via the wonderful medium of Twitter that Schneiderlin wanted to move to Arsenal but the clubs, combined with the midfielder’s representatives, were finding it hard to strike a deal.

It was thought that the Frenchman would sign for Manchester United, but negotiations over a price seem to have stalled, with United reportedly having a bid of £25m rejected.

Now, the 25-year-old has apparently told his pals that he wants to work under Wenger and not Man United boss, Louis van Gaal.

This deal has been on again, off again since last season, when we were also linked with the defensive midfielder and I still do believe he’d be a great addition to the team. Only time will tell whether the deal happens or not, or whether the player is in fact Man United-bound.
