Marseille have confirmed via their official Twitter account that Abou Diaby has now officially signed for them.

The writing has been on the wall for a long time with Diaby and when we released him this summer, it didn’t come as a huge surprise. Nonetheless, despite it being the right decision for both player and club, it still stings.

The midfielder reportedly turned down Premier League club, West Brom, in favour of a move to Ligue 1.
