According to reports, we could be on the look out for another young attacking midfielder, which is pretty much always likely.

Apparently, Serbian Sergej Milinkovic-Savic – who plays for Belgian league team FC Genk – has been on our radar after impressing at the under-20 World Cup. The 20-year-old featured in all but one (due to suspension) of his national team’s matches, including the final, where Serbia beat Brazil 2-1. He scored one and assisted one during these six matches.

Lazio and Manchester United are also reportedly interested in the midfielder and apparently, his brother has already signed for the latter, making that option potentially slightly more appealing to him.

It’s common knowledge Arsene Wenger loves an attacking midfielder and bolstering our reserve team is never far from him mind. Therefore, I definitely wouldn’t rule it out but I’d think it’s far more likely he’s heading elsewhere, despite us allegedly keeping an eye on him.
