Barcelona forward Pedro has been linked with a move to the Emirates and not for the first time.

Back in April, we reported on the rumour that the Barcelona star was unhappy with his lack of playing time in the first team and wanted a move away.

However, as we said then and will continue to say, the likelihood of this actually happening are slim-to-none. If there are noises coming out of Pedro’s camp that he wants to leave, they’re likely to just be down to him wanting to scare the La Liga club into sorting him out a better contract or giving him more opportunities to play.

Saying this, although I’m sure Arsene Wenger still has big plans for Olivier Giroud, having another top quality striker in the team would be beneficial. Pedro has appeared for Barcelona 318 times in total and scored 98 goals, which is a huge stat. In addition, he’s assisted 63 goals during him time at the Spanish giants.

In other words, I don’t see it happening but I certainly wouldn’t complain if it did.
