You may – or may not – have heard that Sol Campbell has decided to run for Mayor of London.

The former Arsenal and England defender seems to have been toying with the idea for a while but now he’s apparently well on his way in the application process.

On Monday, David Hughes from the Press Association tweeted Big Sol:

Campbell appears to want to replace Boris Johnson as Tory Mayor of London and although he’s not currently favourite to win the position, it would certainly be an interesting appointment.
