Alexis Sánchez isn’t due back in London until 3rd August, a day after the Community Shield at Wembley.

He hasn’t, however, let that stop him from working on his game. Alexis has gone to the beach while on holiday to start preparing himself for the new Premier League season.

The Chilean played for his country on 4th July in the Copa América Final, which is why he is yet to return to Arsenal training. Always hard-working and never looking forward to a rest, Alexis won Arsenal fans over almost instantly after his switch from Barcelona last summer. Now he is already displaying the same attitude again before even returning to training for the new season.

Training on the beach could be a very clever move, running on the sand will make running on a nicely polished football pitch feel a lot easier when Alexis is back in London. Arsenal’s top goalscorer from last season is unlikely to be available for the first two or three Premier League games but, then again, maybe the usual rules of match fitness don’t apply to someone who works so incredibly hard all the time.
