When it emerged that Arsenal had officially agreed to sign Petr Cech, some Arsenal players took the opportunity to have a bit of banter with the former Chelsea man.
Theo Walcott has a pretty decent record against Chelsea. He’s scored five against them and assisted one. In fact, it turns out, that’s who his first Arsenal goal was against and guess who the goalkeeper was that day?
Scored my first ever arsenal goal against him – delighted to welcome @petrcech to @arsenal !!! #WelcomeCech pic.twitter.com/9bBpr7nqVP

Obviously up for a bit of banter (honestly, who isn’t?) Cech took it on the chin and replied within minutes, saying:
@theowalcott @Arsenal thank you. Happy it won’t happen again ?

Hopefully this is the case, otherwise I’d seriously start to question Arsene Wenger’s training methods.
