Despite what some managers have been implying about Arsene Wenger and Arsenal this week, Hull City manager, Steve Bruce, has quite a different view.

Speaking in his presser ahead of facing Arsenal on Monday, Bruce seemed completely flabbergasted at the claims that Wenger was under pressure or that his position at Arsenal should be questioned.

“How you can question it is beyond me,” he said.

Although he admitted, “I take a bit of heart from it. If he gets a bit of stick then we’re all due it.”

Before adding, “His achievements are quite remarkable and they’re still a fantastic club.”

Bruce’s praise of Wenger comes after the Arsenal manager revealed that he believes managers should respect each other in his press conference earlier on Friday.

Wenger and the Hull boss’s comments come off the back of several digs made by a certain other manager after the weekend and earlier this week.

Refreshingly, Bruce refused to be baited into making any derogatory remarks about a fellow manager and thus, the media will be left most disappointed.

Arsenal last faced Hull in January, where we beat them 2-0 in the FA Cup, despite drawing the same tie in the Premier League 2-2 in October.
