Lukas Podolski doesn’t seem to know what he wants.

When he first left Arsenal on loan to join Inter Milan he was quite open about wanting to play and seemed to be laying the groundwork for a permanent move.

When it became clear that Inter had no interest in making it a long-term thing he then started talking about having ‘unfinished business’ at Arsenal.

Then he started talking about not knowing what his future held before, finally, telling the press that he would like a return to FC Koln.

“I would go back to Cologne, but that depends on them,” Poldi said.

It’s never been a secret the affection that the German has for Koln, however their vice president recently ruled out a move for the World Cup winner due to the fact they do not wish to be dependent on just one superstar in the way that they have been in the past.

Arsene Wenger has already said that Poldi, along with Yaya Sanogo and Joel Campbell, will be returning to the club in the summer, however I don’t think many think that (at least two of them) have a future at the club.
