Arsenal scored five goals in the Premier League in April and four of them came against Liverpool.
To top it off, all four have made it into the Premier League’s top 20 goals for April.
Fullback Hector Bellerin started off the scoring, before Mesut Ozil scored from a freekick. Alexis Sanchez then scored a stunner, which made it second in the list, with Stoke’s Charlie Adams’ wonder-strike against Chelsea winning first place.
After half time and a Liverpool penalty to bring the scoreline to 3-1, Olivier Giroud then scored a beaut’ of a goal to make it 4-1.
All four goals were unique but also similar. They all curled to Liverpool goalkeeper, Simon Mignolet’s right, but were all from slightly different areas and at slightly different angles.
It’s great to see such a fantastic result being recognised, especially after that game on Monday, which we won’t ever speak of again.
