Not that long ago it seemed as if Carl Jenkinson couldn’t possibly have a future at Arsenal.

With Mathieu Debuchy only just arriving t the club and Hector Bellerin surprising everyone, it seemed as if Jenks was destined to see his Arsenal dream cut short.

Not that long ago, however, Arsene Wenger ruled out selling the right-back and now reports on Wednesday are claiming that the club will consider sending him on loan again next season but will not sell him.

Jenks has impressed on loan at West Ham, earning himself a regular starting spot and has spoken regular about how happy he is getting plenty of game time.

Quite where he will end up on loan is not yet clear although a return to West Ham would probably suit all parties as he can continue his development with a club he’s already familiar with. That would, of course, all depend on the new Hammers boss and his plans.
