Arsenal are apparently trying to raid Barcelona once again.

Setting their sights on Munir El Haddadi, their 19-year-old forward, Arsene Wenger is claimed to be a big admirer of the speedy frontman who is anxious to get more playing time.

According to Fichajes.net Arsenal made an approach for the player in January but Barcelona are reluctant to sell him. The rest of the article is somewhat confusing due to Google translate, claiming that Arsenal would like an arrangement where they purchase him at the end of next season. Whether that means they are looking to get him on loan first or is simply a mis-translation is not clear.

The player’s agent is expected to meet with Barca to discuss their intentions with El Haddadi not prepared to play for Barcelona B.

El Haddadi is under contract until 2017 and has just 458 minutes of La Liga action this season, scoring one and assisting another.

Back in December the Express claimed that the player wanted to move to Arsenal or Chelsea during the winter window with their reports based on ones from Spain.
