Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain watched Arsenal’s 0-0 draw with Chelsea from the stands.

The midfielder has been out of action since 9th March with a troublesome groin problem that has been giving him grief all season.

While it’s not clear when we can expect to see him back in the starting lineup for Arsenal, and rumours of surgery in the summer have neither been confirmed or denied, what is clear is that he was a big miss against Chelsea’s bus.

Speaking on his official Instagram account, the Ox said

The last update, given on 23rd April, stated that he has not even been training so it would seem a return is some way off yet.
