Hot on the heels of the u19 team that qualified last week in Belfast for the finals in Israel, the England u17 team qualified on Tuesday for their finals to be played in Iceland from the 22nd of June to the 4th of July.
The following teams are through: Iceland (host), Spain, Germany, England, France, two groups are currently in progress and results will be know on 16th April as well as the best runner-up from the six qualifying groups.
Ireland is the current best runner-up.
The England u17’s features many players from the Arsenal Ladies centre of excellence u17 side. The England captain Chloe Kelly trains with the first team and has been given the squad number 18 and has already scored in pre-season friendly with the first team.
