Thierry Henry was singing Francis Coquelin’s praise during a recent game on Sky Sports.

Referring to the midfielder as a policeman, he promoted him to detective status ‘Columbo’ by the end of the game.

Now, speaking to Arsenal, the midfielder has revealed that he spoke to the Arsenal legend after the game on the phone and Henry told him he was going to make a song about it.

“I was laughing, to be honest, when I heard that, You know Thierry, he loves a bit of banter,” Le Coq said

“I got him on the phone after that and he actually said he will make a song about Columbo for me.

My position is quite like a police officer, so I understand his point of view.”

He also spoke about ‘Columbo‘ becoming his nickname and the great man himself:
