Santi Cazorla has been singing the praises of Alexis Sanchez after the Chilean’s brace at Wembley on Saturday.

How amazing is that sentence?

Admitting that the whole side are tried, not just Alexis, Santi is backing his teammate to repeat his love of scoring at Wembley in the final on 30th May against Tim Sherwood’s Aston Villa – and with three goals in two appearances at the Home of Football, would you back against him?

Let’s hope he keeps that up and scores twice in the final.

“We are very happy for him. He is a key player for us in a good moment and hopefully he will carry on scoring.

“Of course we are all tired. So is he. He has the Copa America too at the end of the season but he just wants to play all of the time, as many games as you can give him.

“Now we have to rest and finish the season with the objectives we had at the start of the season.”

Arsenal have the chance to become the most successful side in the history of the FA Cup if they can win the end of season showpiece while Arsene Wenger will become the most successful manager in the history of the competition if he secures his sixth FA Cup.

As Villa showed on Sunday against Liverpool, however, nothing should be taken for granted and they will have to work for the entire game if they are to be sure of lifting their 12th FA Cup to become one of only a handful of teams to retain the trophy.
